We strongly recommend you to read NNTR’s Policy, Terms, and Conditions carefully before you confirm your trip with us!

Trekking, Touring or Mountaineering in Nepal, especially in the higher elevation of the Himalayas is one of the most adventurous ventures. Where it is common to risk yourself for AMS, injuries, or even death. NNTR is always a concern regarding your safety, health, and comfort while doing trekking and meandering at higher altitudes. We contribute great effort to reduce or control the risks, threats, and dangers. But sometimes nature’s Unfortunate circumstances and unstable climate in the Himalayas are beyond our control and we are not responsible for it.

Booking and Payment Policy.

Please make sure you have already read all the relevant trip details including Itinerary, facts, Includes, Excludes, Complementary services, and company policy.  It is very important that you choose the right trip for you, which is suitable to your capability. We are more than happy to know your preference and or the style of traveling. Just lets us know how we can help you to make your trip to Nepal wonderful.

Our Booking and payment process is easy and simple. All the prices on our website are in US Dollars. You can convert it into any other currency suits you.

1st step: Advance to confirm your booking.

You need to pay 20% of the package price as Advance payment to confirm your booking. We accept online payment as well or you can send via international bank transfer. Please note that you are responsible for all bank transfer charges.

If there any trouble with this contact us immediately we will try to be very flexible.

When you are ready to go ahead with your booking we will send you our company bank details and the payment information via email. Once we received the advance payment, we will send you a booking confirmation with complete package details and other useful information about your tour/trek.

2nd step: Paying the Balance.

The rest of the package price you can pay once you arrive in Kathmandu while we will be having the pre-trip meeting, we recommend you to pay in local currency (you can withdraw cash from an ATM’s for $5 per transaction) or you can pay with a major international currency like EURO, AUD, POUND, IC, YAN, CAD, Ect.

We also accept major cards like Visa, Master Card, American express, SCT, However you will be charged 4% extra fee to cover local bank commission. We also are very happy to get all the package prices when you send advance payments.

Cancellation and Refund policy.

We know unexpected things happen at unexpected times.  If some unfortunate happens and you need to change your plans you can simply write us an email or message us. If you give us enough time we will try our best to assist your unfortunate.

We are very flexible to postpone your trip and apply for your advance payment anytime in the future. 

 If you need to cancel your trip completely, we, unfortunately, are unable to give you a full refund. No refund will be made for your 20 % advance payment.  If you already paid the full amount of the package you will be charged by 20% of the package price as a cancellation charge.

Leave/Cancel the Trek/Tour early.

If you need to leave your trek/tour in the middle of the trail we will provide maximum effort to make sure your safe return to Kathmandu. And we will assist with your travel arrangements for your home.

We are unfortunately unable to refund any for those who drop their Trek/Tour in the middle regardless of whatever remains unused in the itinerary. But if you are forced to leave your trek/tour due to unfortunate circumstances we will refund after deduction of the minimum cost involved.

Last-minute Booking Policy.

For any kind of Nepal trip, we accept last-minute bookings. We are unfortunately unable to accept the last-minute bookings for Tibet, Bhutan, and India Trips.

Flight Delay/ Cancellation.

If the flight is canceled or gets delayed due to fluctuating climate or any other causes (Which may happen in Himalayan Reason like Lukla, Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot, etc.)  NNTR is not responsible for the extra expenses or compensation. In such a condition your itinerary will be modified or we can manage alternative arrangements on special requests which may demand extra cost.

Travel and Rescue Insurance.

We strongly recommend you to buy comprehensive travel insurance for trekking and tour in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. Your policy should cover your trek, tour, and the extra time you are going to spend including Medical, Natural Calamity, Personal Accident, trip cancellation, and Helicopter Evacuation. Trekking in Nepal can be really dangerous, especially in high altitudes. If you get any emergency we will be able to act fast when you have a good insurance policy. It’s easy to request fast for emergency assistance.

Unfortunate Circumstances.

If we have to cancel your trip due to Unfortunate circumstances like Natural Disaster, War, unfavorable climate, Flight Cancellation, Strikes, Quarantine, Government’s Intervention Policy, etc, we will propose you an alternative trip of a similar standard. If that doesn’t reach your personal interest and requirement we will refund after deduction of the minimum cost involved.

Single supplement charge.

In all of our trekking and tour packages: The rooms, tents, and support staff/porters are based on a twin sharing basis. It means 1 room for 2 individuals and 1 support staff for 2 trekkers. If you wish to go get a single supplement you must have to inform us before the trip departure. A single supplement charge will be applied who don’t want to share room or support staff with another participant of the group.

Clients Responsible during the Tour/Trek.

NNTR holds all the authority to decline, accept, detains, or retain any members of the trip if we find anyone suspicious or indisciplined. The Group Leader or the guide who represents Namaste Nepal Trekking & Research Hub Pvt. Ltd deserves all the Authority during your tours/treks. You must accept our leadership for the whole trip.

Document and Papers.

You must present the entire document like Passport photocopy, insurance copy, Passport size photo, etc which are required for your trip. We need them for necessary permits, issue Visa, issue flight tickets, hotel bookings, etc.  We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs in the absence of essential papers and documents.
