Day
1Early in the Morning after the wake-up tea, you will up for the Bird Watching; this is the best time of the day to watch the birds. Then you will be back for the breakfast. (only if have Chitwan Jungle Safari Package)
After the morning activities, we will start our journey towards the most spiritual land of Buddhism, the birth place of Lord Buddha, and one of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites of Nepal.
This pilgrimage site in southwest parts of Nepal attracts religious Buddhists and hundreds of Internal and foragers from around the world, who arrive to pay homage at the Sacred Garden where the ‘Enlightened One’- the God Buddha was born. A famous landmark inside Lumbini is the Ashoka Pillar raised by the great Emperor who converted to Buddhism. Today Lumbini has been animated by the multitude of architectonically beautiful temples, stupas, and monasteries built by various international Buddhist communities.
Upon arrival in Lumbini, Later in the evening, we will drive to the birthplace of the god Buddha/Mayadevi Temple to join the evening ceremony with the monks. What a blissful evening to end your day!

2Today we will visit the pilgrimage sights of Lumbini, Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Piller, The remains of many ancient stupas and monasteries, and many other new monasteries build by various international Buddhist communities. Like Buddha’s Birthplace – Mayadevi Temple and following world-famous Tampales and Monastorys:
Lumbini is a sacred ground as God Buddha was born here in southern Nepal more than twenty-five hundred years ago. As a sacred birthplace of him, it is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists from all around the world. Many excavations have taken place here to show and prove to the world that Buddha was born here and save this place for the Future. The ruins of the ancient old city are clearly manifest and many artifacts had been discovered during the excavation. Shakyamuni Buddha was born a prince to the ruler of the little kingdom. The most important landmarks are the Maya Devi Temple and the Ashoka Pillar. The remains of many ancient stupas and monasteries can be found in the surroundings of that Ashoka pillar and Maya Devi temple. The Ashoka pillar is said to have been constructed by the Indian Emperor Ashoka in 250 BC with an inscription confirming this as the birthplace of the Buddha. A stone representation of Maya Devi giving birth to Lord Buddha as she holds onto a branch is seen in the Maya Devi Temple.
Day
3Tansen is a small ancient hill town situated 1,350 meters above sea level. It is located on the way from Lumbini to Pokhara. The major attractions here are the ancient culture, excellent mountain views, serene atmosphere, and friendly people. The weather here makes it a delightful place to visit in any season. On clear days Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Gauri Shankar, and other peaks can be seen. Dhaka – the most popular hand-woven cloth of Nepal comes from this area. The Nepali topi (national cap) is made of Dhaka and you can notice the weavers at work on their looms or inspect a bazaar of Dhakas in Tansen.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to wonderful Pokhara. On the way catch the great view of the Himalayas, the countryside of Nepal, cross a lot of alpine forests, many green hills, and riverside. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal. In the evening boating in the Fewa Lake and hike up to world peace Stupa for a Sunset view over the Pokhara valley and the beautiful Annapurna massif. A perfect ending for your day!
If you wish to drive back to Kathmandu you don't have to take a long way via Pokhara, you can ride the same way back via Chitwan to Kathmandu. it's about 283 Km ride from Lumbini to Kathmandu.
